Policies & Procedures

1. Refund Policy

Change of mind — 7-day money-back guarantee

If Career Quest isn't right for you, contact us within 7 days of purchase and we'll refund your package in full — no questions asked.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

Our money-back guarantee is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law — it never replaces or limits them. Under the ACL:

• If our platform has a major problem — for example it does not work as described, or a core feature of your package is unavailable — you are entitled to cancel and receive a refund for the unused portion of your package, regardless of how long ago you purchased.
• If the problem is minor, we will fix it within a reasonable time; if we can't, you may claim a refund for the unused portion.

How to request a refund

1. Email taseersubhan@gmail.com or WhatsApp +61 411 809 484 from (or quoting) the Gmail address on your account.
2. We confirm approval within 2 business days.
3. Refunds are processed via Stripe to your original payment method and arrive within 5–10 business days (depending on your bank).

When a refund is completed, package access is deactivated at the same time.

2. Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to run your account and deliver your preparation:

• Account details: your name, Gmail address, WhatsApp number and postal address, collected at signup.
• Progress data: your test attempts, scores and review history, so the platform and AI coach can personalise your study plan.
• Payment data: processed entirely by Stripe — your card details never touch our servers.

How we use it

• To operate your account, enrolments and packages.
• To personalise your practice (including AI features such as explanations and the adaptive test). Prompts sent to our AI provider contain question and performance data — never your card details.
• To contact you about your account, enrolment or support requests (email or WhatsApp).

What we never do

• We never sell your personal information.
• We never share your details with third parties except the providers needed to run the service (Stripe for payments, Google for sign-in and AI, Cloudflare for hosting, Supabase for secure data storage).

Access, correction and deletion

You may request a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account at any time by emailing taseersubhan@gmail.com. We action requests within 7 days. Two-factor authentication (Google Authenticator) protects every account.

3. Terms of Use

• Accounts are personal. One account = one student. Sharing login details or authenticator access may lead to suspension without refund.
• Packages run for 12 months from activation (Essential A$660/yr, Premium A$1,210/yr, GST included) and do not auto-renew — we will email you before expiry.
• Content is ours. Questions, explanations, mocks and AI-generated material are for your personal study only — no copying, scraping, reselling or sharing.
• Honest preparation. Career Quest is an independent preparation platform and is not affiliated with Pearson VUE or the UCAT Consortium. We do not guarantee any UCAT score or university offer.
• AI features are study aids; always use your own judgement — AI explanations may occasionally be imperfect.
• Fair use. Abnormal automated usage (bots, scraping, reselling access) may be rate-limited or suspended.

4. Support & Complaints Procedure

1. Contact us first: WhatsApp +61 411 809 484 (fastest) or email taseersubhan@gmail.com. We respond within 1 business day.
2. We investigate: technical issues are usually resolved within 3 business days; billing issues within 5.
3. Still unhappy? You may contact your state or territory consumer affairs body or the ACCC (accc.gov.au) — your statutory rights always apply.
